FAQ

We’ll keep updating this page with more details, recommendations, and weekend information as January gets closer. In the meantime, a few helpful notes below.

If any questions come up along the way, feel free to email us at dadyoconnorwedding@gmail.com — either we or our wonderful planner, Sabrina, will be happy to help.

What will the weather be like?
January is one of the best times to visit Palm Springs. Expect sunny days, cooler evenings, and desert temperatures that can shift quite a bit from day to night.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both. The ceremony and dinner will take place outdoors, with dancing indoors later in the evening.

Are kids invited?

Our wedding festivities will be adults-only. If you’ll be traveling with children and need childcare during the wedding weekend, we recommend Destination Sitters, a trusted childcare service in Palm Springs.

Can I bring a date?

If your guest’s name is listed on your invitation, then yes. Otherwise, we’re hoping to keep the celebration as intimate as possible.

May we take photos during the wedding?
You are more than welcome and encouraged to snap photos and videos during cocktail hour and the reception. During the ceremony, we kindly ask that phones stay tucked away.

Do I need a car?

Not necessarily. If you’re staying near the wedding events, rideshares are generally easy and reliable around Palm Springs. The Parker offers valet parking at a discounted event rate of $25 per vehicle. Please note: this event rate does not apply to overnight parking.

Will there be any other weekend events?

Yes, we will be having a Welcome Party on Friday, January 22. Please check back for more details.
